You can use the AFP (Affiliate Tracking Parameter) to track which marketing channels are bringing in the most clients and conversions.
What is AFP?
AFP is a tool in the Axi Affiliate Portal that allows you to append a unique tracking identifier to your referral links. This identifier helps you determine exactly where your clients are coming from, whether it’s a specific website, social media platform (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, or Facebook), or other marketing channels.
How does AFP work?
When you create a referral link with an AFP, you can track the performance of different channels. For example, if you share the same link across different platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram), the AFP will tell you which platform generated the most sign-ups or conversions, allowing you to optimise your marketing strategy accordingly.
How to Create an AFP?
- Go to Marketing Tools: In the Axi Affiliate Portal, navigate to the “Marketing Tools” section.
- Choose Your Banner/Landing Page: Select the banner or landing page you want to share with your clients.
- Access Dynamic Parameters: Go to the “Dynamic Parameters” section.
- Create the AFP: Enter a unique identifier for each channel, such as “Instagram” or “YouTube”.
- Add Tracking Code: Use an existing source or create a new one, then insert the tracking code for that source.
- Save and Done: Click "Done" once you're finished.
- Copy the URL/Copy HTML code: Once the AFP is created, click “Copy” to get your referral link with the AFP included.
