Postback tracking is a method that allows your server to directly communicate with your affiliate network’s server. When a conversion happens (such as a registration, first-time deposit, or commission-triggering action), the affiliate platform server sends a postback (notification) to your external server. This ensures that you get notified directly, by only using your own affiliate marketing platform, that a new client has either registered, deposited or qualified for the CPA commission.
This method is commonly used in CPA (Cost-Per-Action) campaigns, where affiliates earn commissions for specific actions like sales or leads.
You can easily configure your postbacks directly in the Postback Settings tab within your affiliate dashboard.
Postbacks can be set up for:
- Registration (when someone registers under your link)
- FTD (First-Time Deposit)
- Commission (when a commission is triggered)
