How to link / tag my account to an Introducing Broker (IB)?

Please note that in order to be considered for an Introducing Broker partnership with Axi, you are required to be licensed by the FCA.

For Existing Clients:

  • If you were already introduced by an IB, all new accounts you open will automatically be linked to the same IB’s partner code (unless you decide otherwise).
  • You don’t need to do anything for your new accounts to be tagged to the same IB. It will happen automatically based on your previous introduction. 

For Clients Not Already Linked to an IB/Partner:

  • If you aren’t currently linked to any IB and wish to do so, you can request to open a subaccount and tag it to a specific IB/Partner.

Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your Client Portal.
  2. If you wish to link or tag your account to an IB or Partner, select Yes when asked if you have a Partner, and then enter the IB or Partner Code.
  3. On the right side, click Add a New Account.
  4. Fill in the details regarding Account Type, Currency, and Leverage.
  5. In the Reason field, provide any special instructions or details.
  6. Click Request New Account to complete your request.

Changing or Adding a New IB:

  • If you want to switch to a different IB for a new account, or link an existing account to a new IB, you will need to request the change.
  • To do this, please contact Client Services and let them know:
    • The account you wish to tag with a new IB.
    • The new IB code you would like to associate with that account.

Once we receive your request, we will review the possibility of linking your account to the new IB’s partner code. If possible, we will process the change accordingly.

You can also request to be linked/tagged to a partner directly via the Help Center:

  1. Go to the Help Center on Axi’s website.
  2. Click Submit a Request.
  3. Under "What do you need help with?" select Partner Tagging.
  4. Fill in the required details and submit the form.

Important Notes:

  • The process might take 1-2 business days to complete.
  • If you want to change the IB for existing accounts, you'll need to open a new account, as the link is tied to each individual trading account.
