If you forget or want to change/reset your MT4 account password, follow the below steps to reset.

Reset password via the Client Portal

1. Log in to the Client Portal
2. Choose the MT4 trading account for which the password change or reset is required
3. Click on the 'Change password' option found within the 'More' menu (illustrated by three dots) corresponding to the selected MT4 account
4. Input new password

Changing investor password

An investor password lets a user log into an MT4 account in a read-only view, allowing the user to monitor trades but not place or close trades. Investor passwords are commonly used by clients who want to follow the performance of an account that is being managed for them.

Please note: Changing the Investor password is only possible via the full MT4 platform on a computer (e.g., PC, laptop).

To change the MT4 investor (read-only) password, follow the steps below:

1. Open the MT4 platform
2. Click “Tools”
3. Click “Options”
4. On the “Server “tab, click “Change”
5. Type your current master password
6. Click “Change investor (read-only) password”
7. Type the new investor password & confirm
8. Click “OK” to finalize
