How do I place a trade on a Perpetual Future in the Axi Web Platform?

Placing a trade on a Perpetual Future is very similar to trading any other instrument on the Axi Web Platform.

  1. Go to the Axi Trading Platform.
  2. Under the Trade tab, search for the instrument you wish to trade (in this case, a Perpetual Futures product).
  3. A list of products will appear — choose Buy or Sell to proceed.

The main difference is that when you open a Perpetual Futures instrument, the trade screen shows some additional information designed specifically for this product type.

  • Funding rate – This displays the interest rate that applies for holding long or short positions.  This will be debited or credited directly from your balance.
  • Countdown – Shows the time remaining until the next funding payment.
  • Maker/Taker Fee – Shows the fee based on whether your order adds or removes liquidity.
  • Order Book and Recent Trades – Provides real-time data about the market depth and latest transactions for that product.

💡 Note: The higher the number of units, the higher the commission. This will be visible on the trade setup screen.

From there, the trading process remains the same as with any other instrument. You can adjust your leverage, choose whether to Open at Rate (to place a Limit Order), and set your Stop Loss and Take Profit levels. Once the trade is submitted, you’ll see a confirmation screen.

Your open trades will appear under the Position tab, where you can monitor or close your positions at any time by clicking Close or Close All.
