How to download/install the MT4 platform on a Windows device

The MT4 platform is available for PC and Windows users free via the Axi website. Simply follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.

If you have an existing Axi account, you can also download MT4 by logging into the Axi Client Portal.

How to remove/uninstall MetaTrader 4 from a Windows device

To remove or uninstall MT4 from your Windows device, follow the below steps:
  • Open the MT4 platform and click “Start”, then "Control Panel".
  • Select "Add or Remove Programs" or “Uninstall a Program”.
  • Right-click on "MetaTrader - Axi".
  • Confirm you want to uninstall the platform and click "Yes".
  • Click “Finish” to complete the process.
