How to Add a Bank Account for Withdrawals

Please find below the steps to add a bank account to your client portal for withdrawals.

  1. Log in to the Client Portal and navigate to the Funds section
  2. Select Withdraw from the top menu
  3. Click under Bank Transfer
  4. Under "Add a New Bank Account", fill in the required information
  5. Choose the country where your bank account is registered and its corresponding currency.

For your bank account details, fill in the following:

  • IBAN: Enter your IBAN number without spaces.
  • Account Holder Name: Ensure this matches your Axi registration. Enter your account number without spaces. Please note that using a different name will lead to a rejected withdrawal request, as it will be considered a third-party withdrawal, which is not allowed at Axi.
  • SWIFT Code: Include your bank's SWIFT code. A swift code is mandatory for all international wire transfer.

Upload a clear bank statement that matches your Axi account name, showing your name, account number, and a date within the last six months, as statements not meeting these criteria will be rejected.

The bank statement is needed for verification purposes. Bank statements are official documents issued by your bank or downloaded via online banking.

Please ensure that your bank statement meets the following requirements:

  • Must include your name, bank account details, and date.
  • The owner's name on the statement must match the name on your Axi profile.
  • The statement should not be older than six months.
  • Accepted file types for upload include JPEG, PNG, PDF, and HEIC, with a maximum file size of 6 MB. IMPORTANT: Bank statements are different than Bank receipts.

Please note: only the first page of your bank statement is required, provided it contains the following information:

  • Name/Logo of your bank
  • Bank account name
  • Bank account number/IBAN
  • Swift/BIC

Note: If the file size is too big, use an online tool to decrease/compress the file size then try uploading again

Your bank statement will be processed within 24 hours or 1 business day, and you can check your bank verification status when you attempt to withdraw again.

Once approved, your bank account will be saved for future transactions, so ensure it can accept incoming wire transfers to avoid delays.

IMPORTANT: Please check with your bank to confirm whether your account accepts incoming wire transfers and the specific currencies they can handle. It is very important to verify this information first to avoid delays, cancellations of withdrawals, and a delay in the return of funds.
