If you’re looking to update or adjust the leverage on your MT4/MT5 trading account, follow the steps below.
Steps to change your MT4/MT5 leverage:
- Log in to the Client Portal
- Click the three dots (•••) next to the MT4/MT5 account you want to update.
- Select “Change Leverage”.
- If the option is available, clicking “Change Leverage” will take you to a short form.
- Fill out and submit the form to request the change. Our team will process your request as soon as possible, and you’ll be notified once it’s done.
Why is the “Change Leverage” button greyed out?
If the option is greyed out, that means leverage changes are not allowed for that account.
This can happen for two main reasons:
- Account type restrictions: For example, Axi Select accounts have a fixed leverage of 100:1, which cannot be changed.
- Regulatory restrictions: Depending on your country of residence, your leverage may be fixed due to local regulatory requirements.
