You can upload your ID documents directly through the Axi mobile trading app, either during the account setup, or afterwards.
Note: Until your identity is verified, some restrictions – including deposit and withdrawal limits – will apply to your account.
Follow the steps below to upload an ID document:
- Log in to your account (using the email and password associated with your account).
- Click on the small ‘human’ shaped icon in the menu.
- To verify your ID, either tap on the 'Verify ID' banner or go to 'My Application Status.' If you choose 'My Application Status,' click on 'Verify ID.' After selecting your preferred method to verify your ID, choose your identification type (passport, national ID, or driver's license), then click 'Verify ID.'
- Position your document within the frame until it is automatically captured. It is important to make sure all information is visible, and to avoid any reflections.
- If you are satisfied with the photo, click Continue. If not, click Retake.
- You will then be prompted to align your face within the frame; please ensure you look directly into the camera so your face can be captured automatically.
Important!
- Images must show all four corners of the original document.
- Images must be clear, legible and in full colour; they should not be blurry, black and white, or overly flash-lit.
- If you are scanning your driver's license or national ID, please capture both the front AND back of the document.
- If images are not clear, you will not be able to proceed with the verification process.
After successful submission, you will see a confirmation message under the ‘Application Status’ page.
Please note: Automated verification should be completed instantly, but the process may take an additional 1-2 business days if manual checks are required.
