You can upload your identification documents directly through the Axi mobile trading app once you’ve completed the application process.
Note: Until your identity is verified, some restrictions – including deposit and withdrawal limits – will apply to your account.
Follow the steps below to upload an ID document:
- Log in to your account (using the email and password associated with your account).
- Click on the small ‘human’ shaped icon in the menu.
- To begin the verification process, either:
- Tap the “Verify ID” banner, which will take you to the ID selection screen, OR
- Go to “My Application Status” and select “Verify ID”.
- Choose your preferred identification document (Passport, National ID, or Driver’s License).
- Tap “Verify ID” to upload your document and complete the process.
- Position your document within the frame until it is automatically captured. It is important to make sure all information is visible, and to avoid any reflections.
- If you are satisfied with the photo, click "Continue". If not, click "Retake".
- You will then be prompted to align your face within the frame; please ensure you look directly into the camera so your face can be captured automatically.
Important!
- Images must show all four corners of the original document.
- Images must be clear, legible and in full colour; they should not be blurry, black and white, or overly flash-lit.
- If you are scanning your driver's license or national ID, please capture both the front AND back of the document.
- If images are not clear, you will not be able to proceed with the verification process.
After successful submission, you will see a confirmation message under the ‘Application Status’ page.
Please note: Automated verification should be completed instantly, but the process may take an additional 1-2 business days if manual checks are required.
