Important: This method is only available to residents of Japan.
Follow the steps below to deposit funds into your trading account in the Axi mobile app using Local Money Transfer:
- Open the app and log in.
- From the side taskbar, click “Deposit Funds” — you will see a page displaying your trading accounts and balances.
- Choose the trading account you would like to deposit funds into.
Note: If you have multiple trading accounts, make sure you select the correct one for your deposit. Depositing into the wrong account may result in a delay if an internal transfer is needed.
- Select “Local Money Transfer” as your funding method.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit and take note of the currency equivalent that will be credited to your trading account.
Note: Minimum deposit amounts apply and may vary depending on the payment method. If you enter an amount below the minimum, you will not be able to proceed with your deposit.
- Once you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, click “Continue”.
- A pop-up will appear prompting you to enter your First Name and Last Name in Katakana.
IMPORTANT! If the names are not entered in Katakana characters, an error message will be displayed, and you will not be able to proceed.
- After entering both names correctly, click “Continue” to proceed.
- You will then be redirected to Local Money Transfer’s payment checkout page.
- To complete your deposit, log into your local banking app and enter the bank details provided by the Local Money Transfer on the checkout page. Make sure to complete the transaction using this information.
- Once the transaction is successful, you will see the following notifications, and the funded amount will be reflected in the corresponding MT4/MT5 account. You will also receive a notification on your phone if pop-up notifications are enabled.
