Why isn’t my ID verification working?

If you clicked Verify ID but nothing happens, don’t worry — this usually happens because your browser is blocking cookies. Cookies need to be enabled so the verification window can open.

Here’s how you can fix it based on your device and browser:

iPhone / iPad (Safari)

  • iOS 16 and later (Safari 16+)
    1. Go to SettingsSafari.
    2. Under Privacy & Security, turn OFF Prevent Cross-Site Tracking

  • iOS 15 or earlier (Safari 15 or below)
    1. Go to SettingsSafari.
    2. Under Privacy & Security, turn OFF Prevent Cross-Site Tracking.
    3. Make sure Block All Cookies is also OFF.

Mac (Safari)

  • macOS Monterey / Ventura / Sonoma (Safari 15 and later)
    1. Open Safari.
    2. Go to SafariSettings.
    3. Open the Privacy tab.
    4. Ensure Prevent cross-site tracking is UNCHECKED

  • macOS Big Sur and earlier (Safari 14 or below)
    1. Open Safari.
    2. Go to Safari → Preferences.
    3. Open the Privacy tab.
    4. Make sure both are unchecked:
      • Prevent cross-site tracking
      • Block all cookies

Chrome (Windows / Mac)

  • Chrome 115 and later
    1. Open Chrome.
    2. Click the ⋮ (three dots) in the top-right → Settings.
    3. Go to Privacy and securityThird-party cookies.
    4. Select Allow third-party cookies

    1. Open Chrome.

After updating your settings, please restart your browser. Then log back in to the Client Portal or the Axi Trading App and try the ID verification again.
