Modify an Order

To modify an order, you can either double-click on the order in the Trade tab of the Toolbox window or right-click on the instrument and select the Modify option.

When you are in the Order window, you can modify order details, such as the order volume (lot size), and set a Stop Loss or Take Profit.

The Symbol field in the Order window allows you to change the instrument you are trading using a drop-down list. On the left, the corresponding tick chart displays real-time prices. There is also a Comments field where you can add a note when placing the trade.

After making your desired changes, click the Modify button to apply them.

Delete an Order

To delete an order, simply click the Delete button in the Order window.

Using Claude to Manage Your MT5 Account

In addition to using the MT5 terminal and manually place trades, clients can also use Claude to perform supported trading and account management actions on their active MT5 account, including placing, modifying, and closing trades.
