An Account Statement is a document that shows your trading activity throughout a determined period. This detailed document will show all closed and open trades, along with the account summary.

This statement is normally sent monthly to your email, but you can download a copy of the account statement (trade account summary) either directly from the Client Portal or from the MT4 platform.

How to download an Account Statement from the Client Portal

To download the statement directly from your client Portal, navigate to the “Trading Accounts” tab and select “Financial Statements.”

Once selected, you can select the relevant MT4 account and define the relevant period.

Note: From the Client Portal, you can download the financial statements for each month separately, with each month being available as an individual document.

This document can be downloaded in HTML, CSV, and PDF formats.

How to download an Account Statement from MT4

Use the steps below to download the account statement from the MT4 trading platform (computer only):

1. Login to MT4
2. Select the "Account History" tab in the Terminal
3. Right-click in the middle of the terminal and select “custom period”
4. Select the start and finish date for the tax year you are looking at and press "OK".
5. The history from the period selected will fill the ‘Account History’ section
6. Right-click again and select "Save Report"
7. This will then create an HTML statement which can then be converted to a PDF format (Press Ctrl + P)

Note: The MT4 account statement can span more than one page, as it encompasses all the trading activity in your account for the selected period.
