Note: This method is only available to residents of the Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Georgia, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Turkey, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Kuwait, Egypt.
Follow the steps below to deposit funds into your trading account in the Axi mobile app:
Step 1: Fund your Axi card in the Gate To Pay app
Before initiating your deposit, make that your GateToPay card has sufficient funds. If needed, please refer to the following article: How to create a Gate To Pay account and add funds to your Axi Card?
Step 2: Log in to the app and select “Deposit Funds”
Open the app and log in.
From the side taskbar, click “Deposit Funds”. You will then see a page displaying your trading accounts and balances.
Select the trading account you want to fund.
Important: If you have multiple trading accounts, make you choose the correct one. Deposits made to an incorrect account that require an additional transfer can result in processing delays.
Select “Gate To Pay” as your funding method.
Enter the amount you would like to deposit.
Note: Make sure you meet the minimum deposit requirements. Depositing less than the minimum will prevent the transaction from being completed.
Once you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, click “Continue”.
Review your details on the next page and click “Make Deposit”.
First-time deposits with Gate To Pay
If this is your first time using Gate To Pay, click “Make Deposit” to initiate the Axi Card setup process. At this stage, funds will not yet be credited to your trading account.
You will be prompted to complete a sign-up form.
Review the pre-filled details and complete the form with the required information:
Nationality
National ID / Passport number
Card type
Click “Continue” to submit your details for approval.
Note: Your personal details are auto-filled from your Axi profile and cannot be changed at this stage. Please make sure your billing address is accurate to avoid delays in receiving your physical card.
Verification process
Your details will be sent to Gate To Pay for review, which may take up to 24 hours.
Once approved, Gate To Pay will send you a welcome email containing:
Your virtual Axi Card, which will display your name and Customer ID.
A link to access the Axi Card app.
You will need to sign in to the Axi Card app to complete setup, activate your card, and add funds to your card balance.
Important notes:
Deposits are only available after you receive, activate, and add funds to your virtual Axi Card.
Activating your Axi Card is a one-time process. However, topping up the card is not. You can top up your Axi Card anytime if your balance is low or insufficient.
Gate To Pay will also email you the delivery tracking details for your physical Axi Card.
Deposits for existing Gate To Pay users
If you already have an active and funded Gate To Pay account, it will be automatically detected after you select Deposit → Gate To Pay, enter an amount, and click “Make Deposit”.
Once your GateToPay account is detected, you will be prompted to:
Enter the Axi Card expiry date, then click “Continue”.
Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered mobile number.
Click “Continue” to complete the transaction.
Once the transaction is successful, you will see the following notifications, and the funded amount will be reflected in the corresponding trading account.
