How do I set up a Binance account and activate Binance Pay?

Before you can deposit using Binance Pay with Axi, you'll need an active, verified Binance account with Binance Pay enabled. This guide walks you through setting that up.

Eligibility and requirements

• Binance Pay has to be available in your country or region.

• Your Binance account name must exactly match the name on your Axi account.

• A government-issued ID is required for Binance identity verification.

Wallet rules

• The name on your Binance account must match your Axi account name exactly — mismatched names will cause validation to fail during deposit.

• Your Binance Pay identifier (Pay ID, registered email, or registered mobile number) will be required when linking your account to Axi.

• Binance manages all registration, verification, and Binance Pay setup. For the most current steps, refer to Binance's official documentation.

Steps to complete

1. Go to the Binance website or download the Binance app, then register using your email address or mobile number.

2. Complete identity verification by submitting a government-issued ID and facial verification if prompted.

3. Once verified, to Activate BinancePay, open the Binance app and navigate to Binance Pay.

4. Follow the on-screen steps to activate Binance Pay, including setting up your profile and security PIN.

5. Once activated, locate your Binance Pay identifier — this will be your Pay ID, registered email, or registered mobile number. You'll need this when linking Binance Pay to your Axi account.
