Why do I  need MFA when adding a crypto wallet?

Why Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required each time you add a crypto wallet, including when adding multiple wallets during the same login session.

When adding a  crypto wallet, you  may be asked  to complete MFA  verification. MFA is required  each time a  new crypto wallet  is added, including  when adding multiple  wallets during the same login session.

If you are adding a crypto  wallet, please note the following:

  1. MFA is required each time you add a wallet
For your security, you’ll need to complete MFA verification every time you add a new crypto wallet. If you add more than one wallet during the same session, you’ll be asked to complete MFA verification for each wallet.

  2. MFA applies to all account types
MFA verification is  required when adding  a crypto wallet  for all account  types.

  3. MFA is only required when adding a wallet
You’ll only be asked to complete MFA when adding a new crypto wallet. MFA is  not required when  editing or deleting  an existing wallet.

  4. Your MFA code expires after some time
Your MFA code will remain valid for  5 minutes. If the code expires before you complete the verification, you’ll need to request a new code.

  5. There is no limit on the number of wallets you can add
You can add multiple crypto wallets during the same session, with no maximum limit. However, you’ll need to complete MFA verification each time you add a new  wallet.
