Updated 21 days ago

You can deposit funds using cryptocurrency by logging in to the Axi Client Portal and selecting Crypto as your preferred funding method. A unique wallet address is generated for each deposit attempt.

Eligibility & Requirements

  1. Cryptocurrency deposits must be made from a wallet held in your own legal name. Payments originating from third-party wallets will be refunded to the originating address.

  2. Availability may vary depending on your location and account settings. The Crypto option will appear in the Client Portal if it is available for your account.

  3. Supported cryptocurrencies include (but may not be limited to): Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), and Ripple (XRP). The available options shown in the Client Portal are the definitive list for your account.

  4. Each deposit method has a minimum deposit amount. The minimum will be displayed in the Client Portal at the time of deposit.

Crypto Network Rules

This is a critical step. Selecting the wrong network will result in permanent, unrecoverable loss of funds.

Wallet Address Rules

  1. A new wallet address is generated for every deposit attempt. Do not save or reuse a previous wallet address.

  2. Reusing an old wallet address may cause delays in funds being credited to your trading account or result in funds not being received.

  3. All deposits must be completed within the time frame displayed on the confirmation page. Expired sessions will require you to restart the process and obtain a new wallet address.

Steps to Complete a Deposit

  1. Log in to the Axi Client Portal

  2. Navigate to "Funds" on the left-hand menu.

  3. Click "Select Payment Method" and choose "Crypto" from the list.

  4. Select your preferred cryptocurrency from the available options.

  5. If the selected cryptocurrency requires a network (e.g. ETH, USDT), select the correct network. Refer to the Network Rules table above.

Note: Minimum/maximum deposit limits vary by payment method, currency, and region. The applicable limits are shown in the Client Portal.

  7. Review all details and click "Continue".

  8. To complete the transfer, either:

    • Scan the QR code of the wallet address using your crypto app, or

    • Copy and paste the wallet address directly into your crypto provider's platform.

  9. Submit the transfer from your crypto app or exchange within the displayed time frame.

  10. Once processed, you will receive a success notification.

Receiving Time

  1. Crypto deposits are typically credited within minutes to a few hours, depending on blockchain confirmation times and the cryptocurrency used.

  2. In some cases, processing may take longer due to network congestion or additional verification requirements.

  3. If your deposit has not been credited after 24 hours, contact our Customer Success team.

Important Notes

  • If your account is not yet verified, you may be required to complete identity verification before a deposit can be processed.

  • Axi cannot recover funds sent to an incorrect address or via an incorrect network.
